Alexander Wong of Alexander Wong Architects (Hong Kong), is the recipient of
Asia Most Influential Designer Award (AMIDA) during the 13th Designer Of The Year (DOTY)
Awards held at PARKROYAL COLLECTION, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday 27th April 2023.

DOTY (Designer Of The Year) is an annual designer event to promote and elevate the standards of design in both residential and commercial in the interior category in Malaysia ( www.doty.com.my). Every year, outstanding designers who have contributed significantly to the design industry on a global level will be honoured. DOTY works in partnership with online/offline magazines such as Designer Concept, Metropolitan Home and Asia Design and www.designspeak.asia. Apart from winning designers from Malaysia, influential designers from all over the world are also honoured.

Alexander Wong of Alexander Wong Architects is only the second award recipient from Hong
Kong to receive the prestigious Asia Most Influential Designer Award (AMIDA) since its
inception in 2017.
Winner of over 75 International Awards, Alexander Wong has been selected as the recipient of Asia Most Influential Designer Award (AMIDA) at the 13th Designer Of The Year (DOTY) Awards 2022 to be held at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on 27th April 2023. Past recipients include world famous designers like Philippe Starck of France (2019), Kelly Hoppen of UK (2018) and Steve Leung of Hong Kong (2017), making Alexander Wong only the second recipient from Hong Kong to receive this award since Steve Leung.
The selection was made based on the highest votes from the Judging Panel for several notable and successful projects designed by Alexander Wong Architects including:

- Cinema Exotica, Cinema City Shanghai

International field of Architecture & Interior Design.

Kung, Hong Kong; thus making Alexander Wong Architects the only company who has ever won two times in the category of “World’s Best Awards” from International Property Awards.
