Former Decorated Cop Gets Life Term For Killing Assistant Police Inspector

Former policeman Abhay Kurundkar, a President’s medal recipient, was sentenced to life imprisonment by a Maharashtra court for the 2016 killing of assistant police inspector Ashwini Bidre-Gore, with whom he was in an extra-marital relationship.
