Bangladesh Okays Death Penalty For Enforced Disappearances

Bangladesh’s government approved a draft ordinance prescribing the death penalty for perpetrators of “enforced disappearance”, amidthe ongoing trial of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 15 serving military officers over crimes against humanity.
