Pope Francis Had Requested For Simplified Funeral Rites: Report

Pope Francis, who died on Easter Monday at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican’s Casa Santa Marta, had requested that his funeral rites be simplified and “focused on expressing the faith of the Church in the Risen Body of Christ”.
